1.5 mm Butyl Sealant Tape — Ultra-Durable Leak Repair Strip

Reinforced 3-Layer Tape — 1.5 mm Thick

Engineered with a pure butyl rubber core, PET fiber mesh, and a 0.2 mm aluminum foil shield, this tape boasts a solid 1.5 mm profile—70% thicker than standard sealing tapes for robust, reliable sealing power.

Flexible Grip for Tough Jobs

Viscous butyl adapts to surfaces and grips tight, handling up to 22 lbs (10 kg) of peel force. Its elasticity conforms to uneven surfaces, corners, fasteners, and curves with no heating or priming required.

Rainproof, UV-Resistant & Flame-Resistant

Withstands rainstorms, standing water (IP X8), and temperature swings from -40 °F to 248 °F. Reflective foil blocks UV and heat, while the fire-retardant barrier slows flame spread and prevents rust on metal roofs.

Seal a Leak in Half a Minute

Quickly patch holes in gutters, RV roofs, water tanks, concrete, HVAC vents, tents, or boats. Stops a 3 mm hole under 40 psi pressure—watch it work in our barrel test demo.

Peel, Stick, Seal

No torch or tools needed. Clean surface, peel off the film, apply and smooth out. Fully bonds in 24 hours for long-term hold.

Use It Anywhere

Patch roofs, pipes, corners, windows, pails, tiles, or panels. Keep a roll in your garage, boat, or emergency kit for fast fixes.

FAQ

Q1 | Can I paint over this tape?
Yes, after curing (24 h). Works with elastomeric, acrylic, or reflective coatings.

Q2 | Will it work on wet surfaces?
Best applied dry, but will seal damp areas; bonding improves over time as it self-heals.

Q3 | What’s the overlap recommendation?
Leave at least 1 in (25 mm) past all edges of the crack; 2 in is ideal for seams.

Q4 | Is it safe for drinking water?
Free of VOCs or asphalt, but not NSF-61 certified—for external tank use only.

Q5 | How can I remove it?
Warm gently with a heat gun (~60 °C), lift with plastic scraper, then wipe away residue with solvent.
